Heather Phares

Officer Heather L. Phares was born in Fort Worth on May 1, 1991.  She graduated from Mansfield Summit High School in 2009.  She was hired by the Midlothian Police Department in 2012 and graduated from the North Central Texas Council of Governments Regional Police Academy in 2013.

On April 17, 2014, Officer Phares was driving home after working a special assignment with a local school district.  She was involved in a traffic collision with a tractor-trailer, resulting in traumatic injuries.  She passed away as a result of her injuries on April 21, 2014.
